We've just added a screenshot option in chat for when you want to capture that special moment when someone turns furry.

Hit F12 for action and it'll show up straight in chat.

Unfortu-fucking-nately, it doesn't work for youtube or any ville rooms with youtube in them. At the moment, we can't even just specify to capture chat only without youtube because flash is RETARDED. Our pain is not over, we will see if a reacharound can be achieved.


Obviously, if you just want the chat without anything else, go to http://news.wetgenes.com or just load the WTF_import.swf



Update: Sat, 19 December 2009

you may now screenshot chat only if you are watching youpube. we still can't capture youpube cause well, flash is retarded.

screenshot capability has been upgraded to now include webcam option, amongst other things.

our ultimate goal is to ditch flash because flash is a PIECE OF SHIT and it sucks.

native client is what we're look at and hopefully the solution.

otherwise it's a custom plugin.

one way or the other, flash is going.

That's why everyone writes everything in assembly still, right?

Even if Silverlight is marginally better on a handful of things, it's a bitch compared to working with flash, and flash is pretty much a standard as you said.

by the way, flash(youtube) is the reason chrome eats all your ram. clearing cache and reload should release the shackles.
