Colours & Pose

Step 32 : Select Colours

Click on Select Colors to arrive here.

Finally, let us pause on this beautiful page. Notice how only the beastist of colours are represented on the screen.

Now that we have awed satisfactorily, let us abuse the muse.

Step 33 : Pigmentation

Surely you are not that pleased with this current avatar. Or are you? Go back to change any of your selections or delete a body part if you like.

Otherwise, see here how I am customising my little one.

With the All Skin Colours selected, I will proceed to change the skin colours of my avatar. This includes the face, hands, lips, ears, nipples (if you are nudie) and feet (if you are barefooted).

Step 34 : More Human

Hoozah! By clicking on any of the coloured buttons on the colour palette, the chosen skin selection changes accordingly.

For this example, I have decided to make my avatar pale and weary.

Observe how all the colours next to the All Skin Colours change to the colour I have selected. Notice, also, a thinner box filled with a different shade next to each skin attribute. This is the Shine colour that has been choosen for that attribute.

Above the colour palette, you will observe 2 other buttons labelled Color and Shine. Clicking on Color changes the colour of your selection and clicking on Shine adds a coloured shine to your selection.

Click and drag the button labelled A (Alpha) to increase or decrease the visibility of the colour choosen for a selection.

Click and drag the button labelled R (Red), G (Green), B (Blue) to manually change the current colour for a selection.

Do not be discouraged by how complicated all this reads. Play around with the colours and you will get comfortable with the interface in no time.

Step 35 : Dyeing was never this easy

Next, let us choose the colour for our luscious locks.

Again, I've clicked on the All Hair Colours before I pick a colour so that all hairy businesses will be coloured the same.

In this case, I've gone monotone and selected noir as my preferred choice.

You may play around with the other selection choices to be coloured. As for me, I am quite happy with the results.

Step 36 : Dispose

Well, not as contented as I would be until I have chosen the pose for my avatar of course.

Click on the Select Pose (dejavu anyone?) to bring up this screen.

Step 37 : Rawk It

To your left is a library of poses that your avatar may indulge in. For this example, I have chosen one of my favourite poses ever, teh Angry.

Here is also where you can turn Rotate ON or just view your avatars from all angles by clicking on the Front, Back, Left, Right button or just use the Rotate button as you would normally.

Call this the changing room, if you may. Pose, Spin, Vogue.
