< Colours & Pose | Tootorial List Lock & LoadStep 38 : Lock It![]() Now we are the most important bit of our journey. To save this avatar and all the madness that comes with it. Click on the Load/Save button to reveal a number of ways for you to save your creation. Step 39 : Viewage![]() Here you may rotate your avatar for extra pose-ness galore before immortalising her/him/it into a .png file formatted image on the evil internets. Step 40 : Load it![]() Now then, if you're like me and the other 9938860 (as of 4 Apr 06) cool kids all over planet earth, you should have a Livejournal account. This means you will want to save your avatar as a Livejournal icon. Make sure the 100x100 button is clicked before you click on the Save viewed anim as .PNG files in 100x100 button. What this means is that the current pose of your avatar will now be saved in the best possible way to be uploaded straight to Livejournal. You should also save your avatar using the Save an Avatar Soul button. This fully immortalises your avatar into an actual character to be played in the game that is included in this WetTest. Say what now? An almighty 3D based customised avatar as a game character?
Do remember that is it vital you save the avatar as me.xml in the folder advised. Doing this will replace the current dodgy default game character in the same folder. If however, you do not want to replace the default game character; by all means, still save the avatar soul under a different name. You can always rename it as me.xml later when you've come to your senses. Step 41 : Esc![]() Press Esc on your keyboard to reveal these secret selections. Click on Continue to further tweak your current avatar. Click on Restart to kill your current avatar and abandon all hope to start on a new one. Click on Quit to Menu to go back to the main menu wherein you first run this glorious application. Step 42 : Minion ![]() Behold! The outcome of all that work. Sans minimal wage too! As you can see, the editor squirted 2 states of my avatars. This is rightly so as I chose Save viewed anim as .PNG files in 100x100 which means to save an animation. With this, I am now able to create an animated .gif of my avatar. Currently, creating an animated .gif using the current WetTest is not available. Check back frequently for updated versions instead. There, there now. That was fun and easy, wasn't it? Now go play and iterate! < Colours & Pose | Tootorial List |
