A thread from /forum/Wet-Spam

There are three grown men who have lived their whole lives chained to a cave ceiling, where one is finally freed to the outside world. Their whole lives were spent looking at shadows casted by the real world from a hidden fire. Due to their chains they can not look behind them. But behind them is a staircase leading to a type of door to the outside world. One man finally freed, escapes to the real world with much discomfort FROM the sunlight. As he adjusting to this new world, he's told that the things around him are very real and the shadows are only reflections. When fully adjusted he is astounded and returns back to his cave to tell the other two about what he has seen. In the cave his eyes are malajusted and he cannot see the shadows clearly. The other two tell believe his exit has made him stupid and blind, violently refusing any relase from the cave.
